I am proud to let everyone know that I was one of the four volunteers that helped Police find the gun that was used to kill Jackson Police Officer Glen Agee. Check out the Story by clicking on the Link below.

Above is a pic of Joe Barnett and myself hunting the water where Police Officer Agee and the criminal fought. At first, we were reluctant to check out the creek because many snakes had been spotted in the area and the Police said they had covered it pretty well but I insisted on us getting in the water due to our equipment plus I dont like leaving any area unchecked. With relentless determination Joe found the gun in deep water.

Henderson, Missouri.  He was born near Danville, VA on November 16, 1826.  Later he moved with his parents to Lincoln County, MO.  Self schooled he was admitted to the bar in 1844.  He was a member of the Missouri House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1848-1850 and 1856-1858.  When the Civil War broke out he was commissioned a brigadier general in the State militia.  On January 17, 1862, Henderson was appointed to the U.S. Senate as a Unionist to fill the vacancy caused by the expulsion of . Trusten Polk. Later that year, Henderson was elected to a full six year term in the U.S. Senate. Probably Henderson's most noteworthy accomplishment was that as a United States Senator representing a slave state, he co-authored and co-sponsored the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution permanently prohibiting slavery in the United States.  He also was one of only seven republi can Senators who voted for the aquittal of  President Andrew Johnson during his impeachment trial. Henderson's extraordinary life ended on April 12, 1913 in Washigton, DC.
If one historic signature isn't enough there is a second one on the back of this page.  Thomas  A. Hendricks signed his name as Thos. A. He served as Governor from 1873 until 1877.and was the first Democrat Governor elected in the North after the Civil War.  Hendricks ran as an unsuccessful candidate for Vice President on the Democratic ticket with Samuel Tildenin in the presidential election of 1876. He ran aga in in 1884, and was elected Vice President of the United States on the Democratic ticket with Grover Cleveland, filling an office that had been vacant since Vice President Chester A. Arthur became President in 1881.He only served from March 4, 1885, until his death a few months later on Novembr 25, 1885 while on a trip home to Indianapolis.  $49.00
